Renewable Energy Cheaper Than Coal

There is now a movement and an ongoing search for renewable energy which is cheaper than coal. Only by finding a method cheaper than burning fossil fuels will we overcome the need to do so.

Another factor here which must be addressed to properly ensure that the method would be employed is profitability. The process needs to remain cheaper than coal and still be profitable even if coal drops appreciably in price.

Thus the method we find which best addresses both of these needs...  'Renewable Energy Cheaper Than Coal - Yet Still Profitable Even If Coal Drops In Price Considerably' ...would be our ideal solution.

So the price can not just match the current price of coal. It has to beat the price of coal so greatly and yet produce a profit that burning coal and other fossil fuels is just no longer prudent or profitable.

Coal fired power plants produce power at about $90 per Mega-Watt Hour Electric (MWHe). But to beat the lowest cost fossil fuel used for power production we must find a method cheaper than $75 per MWHe, for this is how much it costs for energy produced with a natural gas fired plant.

The least expensive method we have for creating power is via Hydro-Electric Dams. These dams can produce power for as low as $45 per MWHe. But the options for building more dams are quickly diminishing and it will be impossible to build enough to keep up with the increased demand much less afford us an ability to replace existing fossil fueled power production facilities.

We believe that within 1 to 3 years we can begin
to build power plants which can produce power for
5 to 20 dollars per MWHe.

This is literally a fraction of the cost which it currently costs to produce power through coal fired plants... but even better... it is projected to be much cheaper than any other method of producing energy in use today.

National Energy Independence

This is so very important and will afford those countries  with the ability to accomplish energy independence, freedom from oppression by those who would use this factor to overly enrich themselves or perhaps even worse.

All Natural Energy Production

Burning fossil fuels for energy production creates pollution in the process,
but also creates waste materials which need to be properly disposed of.
Nuclear power plants produce heavy water and spent rods which need costly
and secure radioactive material storage and maintenance.

There are three areas of concern here. The processes necessary to produce and/or refine the fuel. The pollution which is released into the atmosphere in the conversion of the fuel into energy. And the waste material which needs to be responsibly disposed of.
